Il disco di Bruce Springsteen, pubblicato originariamente nel 1978, viene ripubblicato il prossimo 16 novembre in versione deluxe di tre cd e tre dvd. Il disco verrà poi ripubblicato in versione Blu-Ray su 3 dischi. “Darkness on the Edge of Town” è il disco che segue il grande successo del precedente “Born to Run”.

Ci vollero tre anni per Springsteen per riuscire a produrlo attraverso dure battaglie legali con il suo ex manager, un periodo confuso che avrebbe brillantemente descritto nel disco attraverso canzoni di rock crudo e disperante. Inoltre la confezione conterrà un libro di 80 pagine con i manoscritti originali delle canzoni e foto inedite delle sedute di registrazione.
