È stata resa nota la lista delle nomination agli Emmy 2020, i premi più importanti della TV statunitense (e globale). Quest’anno è Netflix a dominare con ben 160 candidature in totale e ci riesce grazie a serie TV come The Crown, Hollywood e Ozark. In calo invece HBO che comunque colleziona 107 nomination ma sente il peso della mancanza di una serie TV come Game of Thrones. Fanno invece il loro ingresso nella gara degli Emmy le piattaforme streaming di Disney+ e AppleTV+, che vedono tra i nominati, rispettivamente, The Mandalorian e The Morning Show. Tra le serie TV spicca comunque Watchmen – progetto della HBO ispirato all’omonima graphic novel con ben 26 candidature nelle varie categorie. Segue La fantastica signora Maisel, a quota 20, e The Mandalorian, che ha conquistato ben 15 nomination.
Emmy 2020, ecco tutte le nomination dell’evento
Ricordiamo che la cerimonia dei 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards si svolgerà il 20 settembre e a condurla sarà Jimmy Kimmel.
