Grammy 2021 senza pubblico: la cerimonia è stata riorganizzata in virtù della pandemia Covid. Previsti quattro palchi circondati da un piccolo raduno di colleghi artisti, candidati e loro ospiti, poi alcuni segmenti all’aperto. Il presidente Harvey Mason jr ha spiegato che il protocollo è costato milioni di dollari. Jack Sussman, vicepresidente esecutivo della CBS per gli speciali e gli eventi dal vivo, ha rivelato che molti artisti hanno chiesto maggiori protezioni. «Ad esempio, abbiamo creato aree di ritrovo per i talent con un solo accesso unidirezionale che garantisce che nessuno incontri persone che non si trovano nello stesso pod», ha dichiarato, come riportato da Vanity Fair. Alla fine, sono stati spesi circa 2,5 milioni di dollari di media anche solo per garantire test a tutte le maestranze.
Gli artisti hanno elaborato le loro performance con troupe più piccole, invece Variety conferma che molte delle esibizioni che vedremo durante i Grammy sono pre-registrate, ma sempre seguendo le regole rigidissime imposte dal protocollo. (agg. di Silvana Palazzo)
GRAMMI AWARDS 2021, CERIMONIA ANTI COVID
Inizialmente prevista per il 31 gennaio, la 63° premiazione dei Grammy Awards è stata poi spostata per il 14 marzo. L’assegnazione dei riconoscimenti più prestigiosi in ambito musicale si terrà presso lo Staples Center di Los Angeles ma, come è chiaro, sarà una cerimonia ben diversa a quella a cui siamo abituati. A causa della pandemia, non sarà presente il pubblico in studio e le premiazioni avverranno non dal vivo ma in video, con collegamenti con i vari artisti chiamati in causa.
A condurre la serata sarà il presentatore sudafricano Trevor Noah, ma sul palco si susseguiranno comunque tantissimi artisti e performer del calibro di Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Post Malone ed Harry Styles. COME SEGUIRE I GRAMMI AWARDS 2021
I Grammy Awards 2021 vanno in onda il 14 marzo sul canale americano CBS alle 20:00 (ora americana, 2 di notte in Italia) e in streaming su CBS All Access. Tuttavia, come intuibile, ciò vale solo per l’America. Per l’Italia, infatti, non è ancora prevista una diretta streaming o televisiva dei Grammy Awards 2021, così come invece accade per gli Oscar. Chi vuole seguire “in diretta” le varie premiazioni potrà farlo collegandosi agli account social ufficiali della Recording Academy. Qui, man mano, verranno non solo comunicati i vari vincitori ma saranno pubblicati video in tempo reale oltre a backstage, red carpet e la press room.
