Taylor Swift, fun. e Maroon 5 sono i finalisti con più nomination peri Billboard Music Awards 2013, che si terranno il 19 maggio alla Grand Garden Arena di Las Vegas. Mentre tutti e tre gli artisti sono stati nominati in ben 11 categorie, Taylor Swift e i Maroon 5 competono anche per l’ambito premio Top Artist. Quest’anno Taylor Swift ha ottenuto un altro grande successo con il suo album “Red“, che ha conquistato il record di album più venduto nella settimana di debutto, mentre i Maroon 5 si sono imposti nelle classifiche con canzoni come “Payphone“, “One More Night” e “Daylight”. I fun. che hanno conquistato per la prima volta la posizione numero 1 di una classifica con “We Are Young“, sono stati nominati, tra i tanti, per i premi Top Hot 100 Artist e Top Duo/Group.Dopo aver ottenuto 18 nomination nel 2011 e 13 nel 2012, quest’anno Rihanna è in finale in 10 categorie, tra cui Top Artist.
