Si è svolta ieri sera, domenica 8 febbraio, la 57esima edizione dei Grammy Awards, conosciuti anche come Oscar della Musica. A trionfare è stato il giovane artista inglese Sam Smith che si è portato a casa quattro “grammofoni”: miglior artista emergente, canzone dell’anno con la sua “Stay with me”, “record of the year” e Best pop vocal album per “In the lonely hour”. Ottimi risultati anche per Pharrell Williams, Beyonce e Rosanne Cash (figlia di Johnny Cash ) che hanno portato a casa tre statuette per uno. Il miglior album dell’anno (e anche miglior disco rock) è “Morning Phase” di Beck. Tantissimi gli artisti presenti e non meno le esibizioni sul palco. La serata è stata aperta dagli ACDC, poi Ariana Grande con “Just a Little Bit of your heart”. Seguono Jessie J e Tom con il brano “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling”, Miranda Lambert e la sua “Little Red Wagon” e poi è arrivato il momento di Kanye West che canta “Only one”. E’ il momento di Madonna che ha presentato la sua “Living for love”, primo singolo del nuovo album, poi Ed Sheeran che si è esibito con ”Thinking Out Loud”. Adam Levine ha duettato con Gwen Stefani sulle note di “My heart is open”. Lunga esibizione per Hozier che prima ha cantato la sua “Take Me To Church” poi ha accompagnato Annie Lennoz con la chitarra nel brano “I Put a spell on you”, brano della colonna sonora di 50 sfumature di grigio. Immancabile Pharrell Williams che ha cantato “Happy”, Katy Perry reduce dal Super Bowl si è esibita con “By the grace of God”, mentre Lady Gaga e Tony Bennett hanno duettato in “Cheek to Cheek”. Poi è la volta di Usher con il brano “If it’s magic”. Arriva il momento tanto atteso di Rihanna, Kanye West e Paul McCartney per il brano “Four Five Seconds”. Si è esibito anche Sam Smith con Mary J Blige nel brano “Stay With Me”. Sia, di spalle, ha cantato “Chandelier”, Beck si è esibito con “Heart is a Drum” e Beyoncé ha portatp il brano “Take My Hand, Precious Lord”. La serata si è chiusa con John Legend e Common sulle note di “Glory”, canzone nominata agli Oscar nel film Selma.
